Detalhes Investigadores do ISPUP são premiadas no Congresso Mundial de Epidemiologia

 

Os investigadores do Instituto de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Porto, estão de parabéns pelos excelentes resultados obtidos no XIX Congresso Mundial de Epidemiologia, que decorreu em Edimburgo, de 7 a 11 de Agosto de 2011.

Dos 1000 posters apresentados no congresso, seis foram premiados, de acordo com as áreas temáticas: Global Problems, Cutting Edge Methodology, Chronic Diseases, Neglected Conditions, Epidemiology and Policy and Other.

Dois dos prémios foram atribuídos a trabalhos desenvolvidos por investigadores do ISPUP. 

Ana Isabel Ribeiro  recebeu o prémio pelo seu trabalho, na área de Doenças Crónicas, intitulado Areas of high risk of Coronary Heart Diseas in a country of low incidence, em co-autoria com Maria de Fátima de Pina.

 

Elisabete Alves recebeu o prémio pelo seu trabalho, na área Problemas Globais, intitulado Cigarette smoking cessation during pregnancy and sustainability 4 years after delivery, em co-autoria com Sofia Correia, Henrique Barros e  Ana Azevedo.
