Description

The Master in Health Education aims to provide post-graduate training to subjects that develop or intend to develop health education activities in academic, community or clinical settings.

Recognizing the essential role of the schools in health promotion and prevention of diseases, this Master is especially oriented to the development of knowledge and skills among teachers, allowing them to plan and take action in the field of health education, namely designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating health promotion strategies.

It receives the contribution of several sciences that support the production of knowledge and action in Public Health, and has the collaboration of the health structures and specialists in each of the core areas.

The Master includes a Master Course, during two semesters (60 ECTS), and a scientific dissertation, to be developed during two semesters (60 ECTS) in the second year.
